We have a great community continuing to help us raise money....

Lowestoft walked a magnificent Moonlight Walk on Friday, 26th October. It was a beautiful evening and many people dressed up for the occasion!! many fancy dress costumes. Our participants were spurned on with the thought of a bacon roll and hot coffee at the end of the Walk at the Victoria Hotel.

The Filby Fundraisers have been keeping busy with a concert at Fleggburgh Church which raised over £300 and a lunch at the Filby Bridge Restaurant with speaker this week, 30th October raised over a £1000!. Thank you everyone.

The Diamond Celebration Ball of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh was a sell out success. Thank you to Bruno Peek OBE MVO for the great Event Master that he is. The Fund was richer by over £3000 on that evening.

An Art Exhibition at the James Paget Hospital raised £1029.00 this Friday when paintings and arts and crafts were donated. All proceeds to Palliative Care East.

And yesterday, we saw our Bradwell fundraisers having a lot of fun at a New and Nearly Sale at Bradwell Community Centre. We raised a further £210 and lots of laughter !!!!!!!

Special thanks also to our individual supporters who are raising money by various sponsored events...
and to those people who are sponsoring, and coming along to our events.
If you can help in any way, however small, please let me know.
More events coming up, will keep you posted....
Thanks to everyone..... Jenny

Blooming Showtime

Our most recent fundraising event raised a fabulous total of £7000 at the Blooming Showtime held at the Ocean Room, Gorleston on September 12th. The Show was lead by Julia Knights, Donna Titcombe from Sophisicats and Lin Nicholls and the compere for the evening was Alan Carr, Head of Great Yarmouth Tourism. It was a musical journey through the ages local businesses sponsoring each decade, our main sponsor for the evening was Great Yarmouth Power Station. A fashion show complemented the floral demonstrations lead by Gerard Bogarrds from Holland. The evening showed a variety of talent of dance, song and first class floral displays. Thank you to all our fundraisers for putting on such a wonderful show.

Dave and Jill make a good team together with Joseph as our hospital Fundraisers. They have worked tirelessly over the years for the James Paget Hospital on many of its appeals. They continue to raise money at venues across the area with their Tombola stall and also in the Main Foyer in the hospital. Please pop along to see them and help them to help us raise further funds.
